| MISSION STATEMENT |
O.P.I.N. (Other People In Need), Inc. is a soup kitchen that is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more
specifically, to provide hot nutritional meals to those who are hungry. We prepare hot nutritious meals to the hungry,
regardless of socioeconomic status in the Brownsville, Oceanhill and neighboring communities in Brooklyn, New York.
We also provide referral services to those in need of housing, Public Assistance, Medicaid, Counseling and Job
Training, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or religious beliefs. These services are designed to foster the
economic, emotional and social development of individuals and families.
